{Bakin' Friends}

Hello friends!

Have you ever baked something really, really delicious and wanted to share it with others {aside from your family & friends}?  Here's the perfect solution...BAKIN' FRIENDS!

This group was founded by the mastermind, Steph, over at Steph's Bite by Bite!  She started this program over a year ago, but recently decided to step down as the "organizer"...enter, ME :)  I've participated in this group for a few months & immediately fell in love!  I mean, who doesn't love getting baked goods in the mail all while making some friends along the way?!  After hearing the news that she was stepping down & ending the program unless someone wanted to take over...I quickly jumped at chance to keep the program going!

Steph started the program to connect bakers, bloggers, foodies and those who simply love sweets!  And, I totally agree!

Each month, you will be matched up with another person and will bake them something delicious...while incorporating the secret ingredient.  The secret ingredient changes from month-to-month just to keep you on your toes...it's a fun twist :)  I will send out an email at the beginning of each month with the person you are to bake/send goodies to along with the month's secret ingredient!

On the 6th of each month, I will send an email with your partner along with all the delicious details!  It is YOUR responsibility to contact the person you are sending goodies to within 72 hours.  You will need to obtain their shipping information, ask if they have any food allergies or dietary restrictions and heck, while you're at it, take some time to get to know them (this is where the "friends" portion comes in).  Yes, it's easy to simply bake something & send it off, but take some time to get to know your match!  When you send your goodies, make sure to include the recipe so they can re-create the goodies, too!

Are you ready to join the Bakin' Friends party?  Then send an email to leahmarie{dot}mackenzie{at}gmail{dot}com with Bakin Friends in the subject line.  Emails must be received by the 4th of each month so that I have time to do the pairings.  Your email must include: your name {first & last}, email address & your blog name & URL (if applicable).

Bakin' Friends Terms & Conditions {*aka...the important stuff*}
Please note that by becoming a member of Bakin' Friends, you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions!

Condition 1:  You will contact the Bakin' Friend you are matched with within 72 hours of receiving your match to discuss allergies, dietary needs, and shipping information.

Condition 2:  You will include your recipe for your baked good in your package!

Condition 3:  Your baked goody will be in the mail by the 16th of each month.  Please consider purchasing delivery confirmation (I believe if you send via flat rate box, you automatically get a confirmation #)/tracking number for your package.  It's inexpensive and can be used to prove that you actually sent your package in the event it gets lost.
**If your Bakin' Friend does not receive a package for the month, you will receive one (1) warning.  If it happens two months in a row, you will no longer be able to participate in this program...we all want to enjoy this group, so be courteous!

Condition 4:  In the event that you do not receive your goody, Leah and MacKenzie Memories cannot be held accountable.  By agreeing to participate in Bakin' Friends, we cannot 100% guarantee that you'll receive a baked good from your match.  Sometimes issues arise with delivery, lost packages, or your match simply failed to mail you something.

Condition 5:  Using the Bakin' Friends email list to send out personal or spam emails promoting your blog, giveaways, etc. is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.  Doing so is grounds for immediate dismissal from the program as it is a violation of the other participant's privacy.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions is grounds for dismissal from Bakin' Friends!

...let the baking begin!
